Product Review: Human Nature Natural Moisturizing Shampoo and Human Nature's Daily Hair Treatment

Hello everyone!

I'm back for my first product review where I am featuring Human Nature's Natural Moisturizing Shampoo in lush vanilla scent and Human Nature's Daily Hair Treatment. (Yey!!!!)

Human Nature sells products that are chemical-free and  pro-environment. (You may also check their website for more information about their company and other products http://humanheartnature.com/buy/our-story ).

Human Nature Natural Moisturizing Shampoo

I got the moisturizing Natural Shampoo to treat my dry locks. It is sulfate-free, silicone-free and paranben-free.

Since it is sulfate-free, expect that when you lather this to your hair, it won't give you that foamy, bubbly effect that you usually get with most of the shampoos that we get from the market.

Texture: Liquid is thin and runny.
(Thin runny texture)

Scent: I got the lush vanilla scent, which for me, smells sexy (hahahah)
They also have the mandarin orange scent but I like this scent better so I got this one.

After taking a bath, I was hoping that the scent would stick, but it didn't quite.
(sad..) It left my hair scentless (unscented..whatever hahaha) after a few hours.

Effect on hair: When you wet your hair, especially after having a strenuous activity, you will be left with a hair with a sticky feel as if you just had all the dirt in the world hiding in between your precious locks.

I was under the impression that since it is sulfate-free, and is milder compared to the shampoos that I have used before, it won't be that effective in stripping off dirt compared with the previous brands I have tried. But... my expectations were wrong!!

When I started lathering this to my hair, there may be no foamy bubbly effects as expected, but you will be left with a feeling that the dirt in your hair was gently stripped off yet it gives you that smooth clean feel.

Honestly, I have tried an organic shampoo before and it left me with a sticky feeling after so I used another round of sulfate containing shampoo just to have that clean feel. But this one is really good!!! No need for a second round of shampoo!

Price vs. Quality: Reasonable. Affordable :)
I got this at Landmark in Makati.
The 200ml bottle costs Php129.75

Will I recommend this?
Yes. Yes. Yes.
For those who would like to stay away from strong shampoos and would like to go milder on their hair, this one is for you!
Mild yet gives you that clean feel.

Will I buy this again?
YES. :)

Human Nature Natural Daily Hair Treatment

Texture: Creamy.

Effect on hair: After rinsing your hair with this, it will give you a smooth silky feel. Once hair is dried, it will leave you with manageable locks.

It works best on my hair shaft, but my ends still look a little dry but tamed. It did moisturize my hair but I'm not fully satisfied with my hair ends.

(I'm thinking maybe my hair just needs a little trimming haha. After all, my hair shaft looks good so maybe, trimming will be the solution for my ends).

Scent: I cannot fully describe how it smells but like the Human Nature Natural Moisturizing Shampoo, the scent does not stick to your hair. Therefore, after taking a shower, you will be left with an unscented hair.

(This is how the cream looks like.)

Price vs. Quality: Reasonable. Affordable :)
I also got this at Landmark in Makati.
The 150g container costs Php299.75

Will I recommend this?
Yes. :)
So far I'm happy with my hair. Though I'm still
concerned with my ends, I still believe that this is a good product :)

Will I buy this again?
YES. :)

(Here's another picture. I hope the ingredients are readable. It includes avocado seed oil, beet root extracts, aloe vera leaf juice and sunflower seed oil.)

I recommend using both of these together :)

"Say You're Sorry.."

"Say you're sorry" were the last words I heard while I was playing Sarah Bareilles' song on my phone then all of the sudden, the music stopped playing, I then realized, I just got robbed.

I was on my way to work that day and whenever I travel, I always have my earphones on. And I think it's the reason why I got robbed that day. I know that's stupid of me as it was obvious but, as we all know, shit happens at times it was least expected :)

It has been a week when I lost my 3 months old phone.
*sigh* I still can't get over it though.
It's not that expensive, but it was all from my hard work and the first phone I bought for myself out of my own cash.

Well, I'm still grateful that I am safe and was left unharmed.
Though, I was too furious at that time that I tried to look for those guys and try to get my phone back hahaha luckily, (I do find it lucky) I wasn't able to get hold of them or else, I might end up harmed.

Anyways, because of this incident, I would like to share a few things I learned :)

1.) Don't wear earphones.

Well honestly, I always get reprimanded whenever I go out with my earphones on and NEVER listened. My aunt always and never failed to remind me every time to keep it most especially when commuting since it attracts those hoodlums. But. But. But. I never listened. So I got robbed :(

2.) Wear your bags in front.

This applies most especially to those who wears backpacks like me.
I have back problems so I need to use backpacks rather than shoulder bags or sling bags. I usually wear it in front, but on that unfortunate day, I wasn't able to. I was kinda confident enough that I wont get robbed because I have a lock for my bag. But. But. But. They also stole it. I was like, "What the hell?!" hahaha. So yah, don't be too confident like I was even if you have a lock for your bag. It's actually a simple lock that can be unlocked if you push it. So yup. Don't be confident :)

3.) Hoodlums don't only strike at night time.

It was almost 6am that day and the sun was shining brightly like it was promising me a great day ahead. Ironically, it wasn't.

There were crowds of people waiting for a ride at that time, but not that much. Not that few as well. But, I still got robbed.

Lesson: be always cautious even if the time or the environment seems safe. Never get too relaxed. Check your sides from time to time. But don't overdo it! hahaha you might look like e weirdo.

4.) Don't chase them.

I know that was a very stupid move but I think it is just a normal initial reaction. Luckily, I wasn't able to catch them or even catch them doing the act because no one knows what will happen next if I did.
Remember, life is more important than any material things. We can get our phones or money back but not our life.

My dad told me not never fight back if they just need to take something from you, but if the situations comes worst that it becomes life threatening, learn to fight back and defend yourself.

Summing it all up, just be careful and attentive all the time.

And don't forget to be thankful that you are alive and or left unharmed like I am.

We can get robbed anytime.

I'm not saying that it is okay to get robbed, but when it happens, always think of the things that did not make the situation worse. Be thankful that it was just a phone, or it was just money that was taken away, and not a life.

New Year; New Resolutions

Hi everyone!

First of all, I want to greet you guys a happy and a prosperous new year :) (well ughhh sorry for the late greeting tho hahaha)

So 2015 has officially started and here comes the trend again...
New Year, New Resolutions.

Why do we ever have these resolutions?
Hmm..maybe because we just need something to look forward to?
Or maybe some of us just got used to making one of them 'cause that has been the trend?

Well, whatever your answer to my question be, I believe that we just want to do or experience something 'better' than the previous or past years that we had.

Sharing with you, here are some of my resolutions (which I prefer calling goals) for this year:

1. Try things I haven't tried before.
This one is kinda safe actually, but, it's more like me going out of my comfort zone once in a while.
Nope, I haven't tried smoking or clubbing, or drinking but I'm not planning to try any of these just to clear out things haha.

It's like learning a new sport!
Last year, I was able to try archery which is one of my most desired sports to try :)
This year I'm thinking of trying wall climbing :)
It's like conquering two goals for me which is to try something I haven't done before and conquering my fear of heights :)

I'm also thinking of having my hair permed and colored for a change.
Though I'm quite half-hearted about this since my hair hasn't been colored since the day I was born and lot of people are giving compliments about my very very very black hair.

Career wise, I challenge myself to do certain tasks I haven't done before by undergoing cross-training :)

2. No carbonated drinks nor junk foods.
I was able to practice this since May 2014 and looking forward to do this longer or maybe forever? haha. To be honest, it is really difficult to ditch these two our of my system but it feels rewarding for some reason since I was able to resist temptations. Whoooohooo! :D

3. Take care of my health.
I've been always sick last year. My eyesight is not getting any better and I got some back problems due to prolonged sitting.
Due to these reasons, I challenge myself to religiously take my vitamins and exercise frequently.
But please, even if your not sickly as I am, please do take care of your health too.
Remember, health is wealth ;)

The last in my list is a tough one.
And you guys will be the better judge.

(uhhh huh..)

4. Maintain this blog.
Haha yep (hopefully).
It has been one of my frustrations before.
I always wanted to share my ideas and I always wanted to have an outlet for those so I thought of this :)
I was thinking of blogging since last year but due to my busy schedule, I wasn't able to find time. But now, I promised my self to do more of what I love :)

So yah. That's for my goals for this year.
What's yours?

Please do share yours if you like and tell me what you think about mine  :)

Thanks for reading :)

'Til next time :)
